Kamakura/Enoshima

Part I with Team Strips - Early summer, I miss Team Strips.
Part II with Kei - Romantic fireworks, good summer memory.

and Part III with them!

Here is Team Sisters!
Shunsuke, Chieppa, and Lynn from Portland.

Photobucket

We went to 円覚寺 in Kitakamakura.

Photobucket

Silence, mild sunshine, deep green, little bit yellow and orange, and smell of the fall.

Photobucket

We had a pancake for lunch at an old-fashion cafe.
Can you see how thick it is?

Photobucket

This is absolutely my ideal pancake.

Also we walked along the beach.

Good friends and beautiful place……
いっぱい笑って、おいしいもの食べて、澄んだ空気吸って、やわらかな日差し浴びて。
なんか体が浄化された感じ。
シンプルできれいな1日でした。

リンちゃん、また遊ぼうね!

Independence day

I went to a dentist to pull out teeth.
Before that, I stopped by a shrine and prayed so that it doesn't hurt so bad.
Unfortunately it does, but this pain is mystic.

The dentist gave me the teeth, and I observed them for a while.
They are so pretty.
They had been with me for a long time.
and today they became independent from me.
My parents would feel the same way when I left to America.

Tonight, I sleep with the teeth under my pillow.

Hey You came back here! To Tokyo!

My oldest friend Miyoshi came to see me from Kanazawa for this weekend.
We have been good friends since the kindergarden.
She was my first guest to my house in Gifu.

When I was little, I looked up at the sky and thought I wanted to eat cloud.

Photobucket

Whenever I'm with her, my childhood is aroused.
We ate cloud, and the sun went down.
The days become shorter.

After the sunset, we took a walk on Meguro street to see PDX Art Exhibition.
My uncle Matt flew over to Tokyo from Portland for this opening.

Photobucket

The gallery called White Box was in the backstreet of Nakabeguro.

Photobucket

Just as a name of the gallery, it was a white box which has the amazing photos of PDX and some artworks.
